Riding Lessons

Regardless if you are 5 or 65 years old, if the outside of a horse smells good to you we can make your dream of riding a reality.

Our instruction is based on the premise that building a partnership is key. You can ride a machine through the woods and see nature, but on a horse you are part of it. That said, teaching is a life-long lesson in learning. Heather is a CHA certified instructor; she and the girls constantly add to their own education through clinics and lessons with professionals of all disciplines. (See our TRAINING page for more on this.)

At MLF we feel it is important for the rider to be intimate with the entire process from grooming your horse to tacking up. Beginners are introduced to the basics and allowed to participate as much as they are comfortable prior to and after their lessons.

More advanced riders are welcome to work on their own and we are always nearby to help.

Riding lessons are offered in English and Western disciplines and are available in either a group or private setting. Heather coaches the local team of the NH High School Equestrian Team (NHHSET) and is a CHA certified instructor.
